The seminar titled "Conservation in the 19th and 20th Centuries" was held in our Faculty Conference Hall. The seminar was presented by Conservation Academy founders Conservation Expert Architect Dr. Damla Acar and Conservation Expert Civil Engineer Rabia Şengün. This first face-to-face seminar, conducted by Lecturer Pınar Özayan, attracted great participation from students interested in architecture and conservation.
The event, which was also attended by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Ateş, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aysun Tuna, Faculty Secretary Nalan Ülgü, Lecturer Meral Vural, Lecturer Hatice Tuğlu Uçar, guests and our students, provided the participants with in-depth information about current approaches in the field of conservation and developments in this field in the 19th and 20th centuries.
At the end of the seminar, Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Ateş presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers, emphasizing that the event was completed successfully. Lecturer Pınar Özayan presented gifts to the participating lecturers. Lecturer Özayan stated that various seminars will continue to be held face-to-face and online throughout the semester, and that these seminars aim to increase students' awareness of the conservation area.
