June 26 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Smuggling events were held in Bolu City Square. Bolu Provincial Police Department, Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Yeşilay and our Faculty's Architecture Department students set up a stand. Methods of combating addiction were explained to the citizens in the square. Bolu Governor Erkan Kılıç, University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı, Provincial Police Chief Ercan Dağdeviren and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Mehmet Avcı also attended the program.
In the program, the New Life Village Rehabilitation Campus project prepared by the students of our Faculty's Department of Architecture attracted great attention. The campus was created by considering age groups and gender differences in the project. The students explained to the citizens that treatment is efficient in combating addiction when women and men are in separate areas.
